Born in Dec 1955, Brad Rabuchin grew up in Pasadena, Ca oblivious to the classic rock era of the 60s until one night on TV catching Mason Williams playing his guitar instrumental “Classical Gas” on a guitar with fish swimming around inside of it! He then delved into playing, first mostly acoustic finger style and later getting into electric. Brad studied music at Pierce Junior college but his musical identity was more drawn from self study and several excellent private teachers including Derol Coraco, Ted Greene and Joe Pass.
Brad Rabuchin now splits time between leading his own band and a successful carrier as a sideman. Some of the Brads’
credits include: Bonnie Rait, Roy Hardgrove, Louie Bellson, Pat Martino, Steve Turre, Al Kooper, Steve Wonder, Buddy Miles, Lean-to, Diane Shurr, David “Fathead” Newman, Willie Nelson and even Mr. Tom Jones. Brad also spent 5 years as the last guitarist with Ray Charles . All the while, though, Rabuchin has also been honing his own unique musical voice, just left of center.
Guitarist Brad Rabuchin is not one to paint by the numbers, musically speaking, or play by a given set of rules. That much is clear on his 2 solo albums “When Smart Dogs Go Bad” and “ Cats Have Edge” .They area jazz albums with liberal doses of other, mutually compatible influences, from rock to funk to ethereal aesthetics, and back. Rabuchin’s band is no guitar dominated blowfest, but a musical outing accenting the leader’s compositional sensitivity and the delicate-yet-feisty textures of a carefully-conceived ensemble.
Many a musician are recognized for their ability to excel in a specific area of the music industry. Whether through virtuosic performances, wildly successful promotional strategies of the Do-It-Yourself mentality, or even creating soundscapes for movies and visual mediums, very few musicians stray from their specific aural crafting.
Enter John Kiernan, who with comparisons to virtuosic musicians such as Steve Vai and Andy James & film composers such as Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer and Akira Yamoka, knows not of boundaries, but moves effortlessly between and with them.
John Kiernan wears many hats in the music industry. His abilities have allowed him to create mind gripping film scores for directors like Award Winning director Anthony Mezza, Nick Mandiola and Kevin Bianchi. John has also performed with the likes of Slash from Guns N Roses and records/releases albums with his solo instrumental metal/rock extravaganza John Kiernan as well as with his punk rock trio R.V.U. John also teaches students of music theory, composition, and guitar technique with his wife at their school The Academy of Musical Proficiency (A.M.P).
After studying with composers such as Dr. Stuart Glazer, Professor Michael Zager, and Professor Alejandro Sanchez-Samper at Florida Atlantic University, John took his travels to New Jersey, where her currently resides to compose, release music, and leave his listeners with aural satisfaction and longing for more, which is always coming right around the corner.

Location: Duesseldorf, Germany
Date of Birth: May 12, 1981
Been playing guitar since: 1994
I was born in 1981 in Detmold, a small town in Germany and started playing the guitar at the age of 13. At that time I was listening to a lot to Guns n Roses and Slash was my big idol at that time. He inspired me to start playing the guitar. It was my 13th birthday when I got my first guitar, it was a really cool but hard to play acoustic guitar. My fingers started bleeding learning first chords but I got addicted to it! During my first 2 years of playing I had a teacher showing me the basics to get started. I really practiced a lot and I totally fell in love with the guitar.†
Then i moved to Dusseldorf and studied the most of the time by myself, had the first band experience and started gigging around. In the year 2002 I met my band "Roomers" where I am still in and I love those dudes! We just released our third studio album which is called "Feelings". I started having some lessons with Martin Miller in 2010. Such a wonderful player and friend. I really learned so much from him and I always try to get better and challenge myself.†
Nowadays I am touring a lot with Roomers , also I have a cool side project called Yugoton a balkan cover band, lots of fun!
My main Job Is Guitar teaching.I love doing it!!
Playing and Influences†
A lot of musicians have influenced me, throughout the years. I really love every kind of music! Here are a few musicians that influenced me the most: Slash, Gary Moore, Jeff Beck, Malmsteen, Michael Lee Firkins, Guthrie Govan, Scott Henderson, Mike Stern, Martin Miller, Tom Quayle, Joe satriani, John Petrucci and so many others.†
